Still Here, Still Hardly Knitting

The title of this entry says it all folks. Still here, still hardly knitting.

My new job is v. good...or so I think. It keeps me v.v.v busy. Busier than I thought it would. I am not complaining. I am just saying, that's all.

My knitting these days comes in dribs and drabs...and apparently, those dribs and drabs add up, since I now have two garments waiting to be sewn up. One for me, one for Darling Daughter.

Speaking of Darling Daughter, she went to her first Knit-Out.

We spent most, if not all, of our time at the Kids Craft table. It seems that glue and yarn make a happy marriage. Add bead and jiggly, googly eyes and life is PERFECT. Well, that is until you are asked to leave to craft table to make room for no one in particular. Tears ensued. We went to Barnes and Noble and suddenly, sitting on the floor with a pile of books around us, life was good again. I think that next year we will skip the Knit-Out and go directly to Barnes and Noble. Again, not complaining, just saying is all.
